He is best known for his roles as Hiro Nakamura in the Nickelodeon sitcom All That, Tom Lawrence in Disney XD’s Losers Club and Shogo Kurenai in Naruto. Aoki was born on December 17th, 1988 in Torrance, California to Japanese parents. He has three sisters: actress Maaya Sakamoto (known for her roles as Yumi Inoue on the TV series Fullmetal Alchemist and Karen Kujo on Death Note), model/singer Rie Miyazawa (also known as Maji de Watashi ni Koishiteru), and fashion designer Mari Aoki (the sister of actors Masahiro Motoko and Kenta Yamazaki). Growing up, Aoki was heavily influenced by his older sisters who were both successful actors before he even began his professional career.
